Been giving out people the tension and the stressful life that I had here in KL. Yesterday been flipping over a mag from IKEA. My juicy creative mind start to churn and I am designing my own home with a perfect furniture to match the theme that I always wanted to have in my own living space. Though the furniture are god damn nice and simple that definately suit my taste but the price are definately CRAZY! As you know, IKEA not others furniture shop that scattered around like Courts and small little shop. How about self-customed-made-furniture? Well, handling those tools will be like "kar kanna chiu, chiu kanna kar" (Hokkien: Hand like leg and leg like hand: meaning clumsy). Though my dad once a carpenter but I am sure he forgotten how to make one and now all he know is how to build a house.
I always have this concept of combining Japanese style with modern style home. Now I slightly have another different kind of idea where I am discarding the idea of using tatami like shown in the picture. But I am changing my idea to total modern style. With the floor will be the wooden base and the color of the wall be something different from the current trend that every one have; white. I will choose different color for different wall to match the furniture that I will have it. Or perhaps using color wallpaper that usually used in the west. I always attracted to a very simple kind of design where it will not be something like old unique antic that my dad like. I much like prefering something that is comfortable with not lots of stuff in the house.
The most important feature that I must have in my own space is to have a relaxing environment that I can enjoy when I step into it. Cosy chair with a nice jazzy music air on the radio. Sound nice and comfy? Well, to create those environment definately not going to be easy and costly too.
As an IT graduate, definately technology will be implemented too. Wireless technology will be implement and most likely a nice computing space for me to enjoy the world of cyber.
Been to my friend's sister new apartment at Damansara Sunway, nice apartment area where every block there will be a swimming pool for occupant to relax themselves after a very tiring day back at the office. Nice environment but one thing is bad, it's near LDP highway where it will dusty and noisy too. The place is not bad and it is near Mutiara Damansara where IKEA, Ikano Power Center and THe Curve are located.
Now I must definately work hard to earn hard cold greens to have my own private space. I do not mind to drive a 10years old Proton Wira 1.5 but I do wish to have a place on my own.
hrm, combination of japanese style is nice also, especially if u get a japanese chun gf,then both of u doing 'something' inside,erhm....btw,ur new modern idea is nice also...but before think of how to decorate it,think of how to get a house 1st,hehe
