Well today I saw the newspaper headline on my colleague desk and it stated Five-day week for civil servants from July 1. Now the government is trying the new system for the civil servant that already existed in the big corporation for quite sometime already. The system will be implemented on the 1st of July. Will be successful? Will it increase the productivity of our country? Will the civil servant will take this system for granted?

Seems like I have many doubts about this system that being implement and I definately hope it will work very successfully. But first of all, I think the government should take more time to analyse the situation in the government office and to look out for more areas to improve on. For example, the government officers must be polite and always ready for work. Once my mum bumped into a situation where she was at the counter to do some work and the operater at the counter was not bother my mum existance and kept on chatting with her colleague beside her about sales in a shopping complex. Seems like she is not ready for work but shaking her legs like nothing to do.

According to the news, the working hours will be increased from 8hours to 8 1/2 hours, that means only 30minutes increase. What can a civil servant do in half an hour? Serving another extra person? Well, use your head and think about it.

If the government offices do not open during Saturday, what happen to those who are working during the office hours and not able to pay taxes, land taxes, road taxes, applying passport and etc. It will cause so much hassles to us, civil citizen. Perhaps the government come up with another way to compromise about this matter.

Well, I am not totally against the system here but I do agree with it. The governement servant also need some benefits while serving the country. Check the news below.
