Photoshop is a program where I was so keen to learn when I saw JW using it during one of our group project back to the days of CITC. I was so facinated with the features and the abilities of creating plus editting graphic in simple few steps. As I can't avoid the destiny of learning it, I was JW's housemate after some controversial confrontation with my previous house owner in Casuarina. Since the day I was staying in Melati together with Ho Guan, JW, and Hanz, I started to learn the basic of the functions of the program from JW (Thanks to JW, give him big round of applause). Everyday I will be carrying my handydrive back to the campus to download some tutorials to improve my abilities.Basically that is my history of Photoshop- ing.
I once regret that I should not be in the Computer Science course but in the Multimedia or perhaps should not in INTI College instead go to LimKokWing. Time can turn back since I found out that I had fall out of favour in programming. Why I do not choose multimedia in the first place after my foundation? Well, the reason I gave myself was, "Aiya, I don't have any creativity juice in my head ler..". Now I find myself wrong about the statement that I made. As a quote from a Japanese proverb, "I will master something, then the creativity will come". The quotation is definately true.
What happened to me when I am without Photoshop? Well see the picture below:-
I am going to be like the bird; lifeless. Photoshop is already part of my life and I simply just cannot live without it. No matter how busy I am, I definately will spend sometimes in the program and try to crush some creativity juice out of my head.
Most of the time I will be looking at those advertisements in the papers and make an almost same graphic. That is how I find another way to drive myself to achieve something that people can make and so can I.
Seems like Photoshop already integrated in my life perfectly. So I won't give up on this abilities that I had built from scratch over all this years. Now it's my time to spread my knowledge for those who are keen to learn it.
