I would like to share a story with you guys here in the blogsphere. Basically this is a real life story from a friend that I know. So here is the story from the REAL statement from my friend together with proves. Check it out and do leave your point of view...
Here is how the story goes......
The name in this story has been changed to protect the identity of the real person.
One day, Ah Seng (which is Ah Beng's friend) brought a hard disk to GraveYard Plaza and wanna past it to Ah Beng. Then Ah Beng called Brainless asking a favour from him to help Ah Beng to take the hard disk back to home since Ah Beng lives nearby to his home. Brainless agreed that he could do Ah Beng a favour to help him to take the hard diskk back. After Brainless agreed to do so, Ah Beng called Ah Seng to pass the hard disk to Brainless at his shop. At that particular evening, the hard disk was with Brainless 's responsibility.
At night, Ah Beng went to Brainless's house to collect the hard disk. Brainless said that he was very tired and slept at that time. So Ah Beng said that he will collect from him at GraveYard Plaza tomorow. The next day, Ah Beng went to Brainless's shop and asked for the hard disk and suddenly, Brainless told Ah Beng that the hard disk was missing. Ah Beng was suprised that from the word uttered from Brainless's mouth. After that Brainless checked the CCTV at his shop and he admitted that he took it from Ah Seng. Brainless told Ah Beng that he needed some time to look for the missing hard disk. Ah Beng agreed and said to Brainless that he will get the hard disk from Brainless another time.
After 2 weeks had passed, Ah Seng asked Ah Beng for the hard disk payment and Ah Beng messaged Brainless for the money,

He got problem ar? I'm not responsible for the hard disk ler.
I'm just helping him to pass it to you.
I don't get any benefit and don't earn any money for doing that.
Why I have to pay him for it?
Ah Beng replied :
Cos the hard disk was handle to you already.
And you just helping him to pass it to me only.
But it was missing while it on your hand.
So that means I have to pay for the lost???
Brainless replied the message :
Whoever...but not me...
It's yours and his business...
I'm not involve....
I'm just helpin...
But if I can't help, don't point finger at me...
That is the end of the story, so who do you think is wrong? Who should be responsible?
~ brainlees has gotta be responsible in one way or another... but ahbeng could have shared the responsibility also, cuz he's in the first place who suggested that ahseng passed the drive to brainless instead of him.

but in the first place, Brainless already agreed to do so, by the time the drive reached on Brainless's grasp, it should be his responsibility...

IMHO, Brainless should be solely responsible.
If you can't handle the responsibility in the first place, don't offer to help people.
