Chelsea - 2005 Carling Cup Winner

This year is going to be wonderful for Chelsea Football Club, the English Premier League leader had won the Carling Cup ties against the Reds, Liverpool. I am so happy when Liverpool talismantic skipper handed the life line equalising goal to Chelsea FC, 11 minutes before end of the normal time. Liverpool taken the lead with the fastest goal ever in the history of Carling Cup Final. Chelsea is pushing very hard to get the equalising goal and it seems that Chelsea is trying their best to pull one back after two straight defeats from FA Cup against Newcastle and also in the UEFA Champions against the giant Spainard, Barcelona. After 80th minute, Chelsea got the equalising goal from the own goal from the Liverpool skipper, Steven Gerard. Chelsea take the lead from Didier Drogba after the long throw from Glen Johnson and eventually take the further lead from the Mateja Kezman goal. After a minute, Liverpool pull back the gap to one goal after a free kick. The score ended Liverpool 2 - 3 Chelsea FC.

This is the first cup under the new bos, Roman Abromovich and new manager, Jose Mourinho. Hopefully Chelsea can win more cups and titles in the next few years to come.
