Congratulation to the French team for reaching the Final against Italy. The former champion once again booked their place in the final just like France 98, four years ago. The French team have a lot of critics on their display for the past 8years down the road. After winning the World Cup back in their homeland, their performance started to fade as some of the older generation like Emmanuel Petit, Marcel Desailly and others retired from the international scene.

First they struggled in the European Championship at Portugal then they were spunned out of first round at Korea and Japan 2002. The world was shocked as they crashed out at the first game against the debutant, Senegal. The worst thing, they even did not scored any goal in that competition. But now, everything turns around as they are in the final game at Germany 2006 World Cup.
