Currently playing in the blog is Lamb of God by Marilyn Manson. Well after some comments from JW and Hanz in the conference chat in MSN yesterday, I decided to change the song to a entire different type of genre. They said lately I had been uploading love songs and I guess it make them totally bored with it.
Many of the people think that Marilyn Manson is a bad influence to the society especially the youth. Cases likes shooting in high school, youth commit suicide after listening to his songs and other cases, the society just pointing their fingers directly to him. On the other hand, people is talking about his satanist personality in the music industry. As I know, he once confessed that he is a satanist but he never spread it in his creation. Still, people do not get it and keep on blaming him as a satanist.
I admit that I was once against his music but after listening few of his songs and the spark came alive in me. I accepted his music entirely. I read his lyrics, biography, interviews and watching his mtvs. My perspective of him changed, from baddest satanist to greatest icon. Basically he is a very talented man and genius too. He is doing what nobody in the music industry will ever do. Putting on some frightening show and songs, from there he exploit the music market and earn some big bucks. Gosh, he is a very good business man as once Corey Taylor from Slipknot said. For me, he is the greatest shock rocker ever.
Here, some of his saying that I would like to share:

Music is the strongest form of magic.

MM:"I am not trying to shock or enrage the people on purpose. It's not some sort of plan. It's just my personality. It's just the way I am. I can't be any different and I can't imagine being different. It's pretty easy to shock people. Everybody can do it. That's why I'm not really out to do it. It wouldn't be a challenge."
--About Rap Music - Talk Magazine - November 2000
MM:"The larger portion of it is not technically music. Music is defined by a melody and by lyrics. Most contemporary rap, by contrast, is base, simple, lowest-common-denominator noise that consists of people spending three and a half minutes bragging about how much money they don't really have, and about how many cars they don't really have the money to buy, and how many bitches and ho's they've been slapping around, to a drum-machine beat. It's not really advancing any sort of art form."
